Picture a wide-eyed 5-year-old whose parents let them watch Top Gun (which may have been a questionable parenting decision...but I digress).

I was completely mesmerized by the roar of jet engines, the rocking soundtrack, and the thrill of flight.

Fast forward through years of science classes and big dreams, and I found myself in college, ready to conquer the skies as a pilot.

But life had different plans.....

After battling tons of anxiety in the cockpit and realizing the pilot's life wasn't for me, I discovered my true calling:

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE.

It combined my love for aviation with my passion for problem-solving and working with my hands.

I dove head-first into maintenance training, scored an avionics internship, and eventually landed my A&P license.

From there, my career took off.

But before I started in aviation maintenance after finding out that being a pilot wasn't for me, I only had bits and pieces of information.

Fragments of the certification process.

I was stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I would read a forum post here, fear I wouldn't make enough money, get some advice from a random A&P mechanic, and then hear contradicting information from another respected industry veteran.

But what I didn't have was a step-by-step system.
